Steve Frederickson

Steve Frederickson was born in Telscombe cliffs in 1872. His home was on the cliff edge and even at the time of his birth, marjor portions of his faimily's once imposing property and land had been reclaimed by the sea. It is known that as a baby Steve Frederickson fell or perhaps,as more horifically believed, thrown by his mother. The reason for this tragic act is not known; belief is that his mother was suffering from depression or mental illnes brouht about by the decline in the faily fortune due the litteral errosion of their home and the limited means by which she had to keep her baby after his father fleeing the country following allegations of smuggling being raised against him.

Even more amazing than the tragic start to Steve Frederickson's life is the fact that he survived; expectedly, his fall was not without consequence. Steve never grew in height beyond that of a three month old child; however, his physical prowess developed to a tremendous degree, far beyond that of a normal sized man. This great physical power contained within such a small frame created an exponential or expulsion of force. It would not be unrealistic to describe Steve Frederickson as super human.
Steve Frederickson's father was regarded with some notoriety in the community. He was believed to be associated with local smugglers and the murders of several local people. Local opinion was that his father's wealth, reputation and position, to a certain extent, raised him beyond the law. When his father disappeared he left his with a baby with one asset, a house in which to live, but no means to support it or feed themselves; sadly too, this house was within feet of the cliff face, it was not sellable and was to fall into the sea within the next two decades.

For the years that the house remained on the cliff top, Steve Frederickson and his mother lived their lives in isolation. One of the few people to have met Steve Frederickson describes a meeting with him and his mother. "I estimate him to have been no more than the size of a three month old child, yet clearly much older. His pointed teeth gave him an animal like appearance, yet more significant was the animal like power he exuded. I can best liken the tension I felt as to being in a lion cage with a trainer, who with one swipe could end the life of the man who presumes to demonstrate control."

Steve Frederickson and his mother had no means of support and the only food they ate was the food they gathered or hunted for themselves. Many people have seen Steve Frederickson searching for food along the cliff tops at Telscombe Cliffs, and many have witnessed his ability to leap tens of feet and have compared his hunting ability to that of a cat. They lived in their cliff top house until the last of its ruins were claimed by the sea. We know these to be the facts of the hisory of this poor faited family.

We do not know what happen to the Steve Frederickson and his mother when the last of their house fell into the sea at Teslscombe Cliffs. We know that many people have repoted seeing Steve Frederickson, especially at night, "flying" along the Telscombe Cliffs. Some people report being attacked by a small human like creature, and even have scars to show for it. Like most legends, we known they are based upon truth. From my investigation into The Legend of Steve Frederickson in Telscombe Cliffs. I would say without doubt that he existed and was possesed of superhuman abilities. I would also be prepared to believe that Steve Federickson is still alive. Why do I say this? Because last year (2004) I was knock to the floor, and knock unconcious, by somthing that swooped down on me; this was at twilight on the cliff tops at Telscombe Cliffs. At this time I knew nothing about the legend of Steve Frederickson. I was lucky enough to be help be someone who knew about the legend and lent me the photograph of Steve Frederickson to scan into my computer. I had lived in Telscombe Cliff for seventeen years and this was the first time I had ever heard of Steve Frederickson.
